Clementina “Sustainable Latina™” Martínez-Masarweh is a Climate Textile Literacy Educator and Circular Fashion Designer who advocates for California’s SB 707 Textile Recovery Act, specializing in upcycling, mending, repairing, and bringing microplastic awareness through an equity and environmental justice lens. She teaches Adult Education courses with the Mt. Diablo School District, where hands-on upcycling, mending, and creative reuse have driven measurable behavior change and career pathways in textile recovery. Her work focuses on expanding climate literacy and accessible circular solutions for frontline and BIPOC communities.
