NCRA supports the University’s commitment to Zero Waste and campus sustainability. SF State is a transit-first campus, committed to reducing traffic and greenhouse gas emissions. Please use public transportation to and from SFSU, if it’s accessible to you. If you or your colleagues must drive, consider carpooling to reduce the number of cars on the road.
Although the campus will be on Spring Break and paid parking will be available, major road construction along HWY 1/19th Ave is expected to impact traffic for much of the spring of 2026. Please plan your trip accordingly.
RU PARKING
SFSU Parking Lot 20 uses PayByPhone, a parking payment system that allows you to pay via their phone app, website or an automated phone call. If you are a new or guest PayByPhone customer the process may take up to 7 minutes.

Download the app from your app store or visit their website.
Enter 398500 in the app map search bar – SFSU Lot 20 Levels 1-4. Elsewhere, location numbers are posted on signage and pay machines. See photo at left.
Add vehicle state, license number, type – car, motorcycle, truck, electric bike and a 12-character description.
Enter anticipated minutes or hours, your cell number payment system and click pay.
