CVSan’s Green Ribbon Program – Growing Zero Waste Focused Schools

CVSan’s Schools Programs have been educating students and engaging schools about the 4 Rs of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot for over 30 years. Since the launch of the Green Ribbon Schools Program in 2007, Castro Valley schools have reduced their garbage by 70%, seen great cost savings each year, and achieved an average school diversion of 92%!
